I need a place to stay at least 2 bedrooms no more than $300 per month please help me find somthing thank u all, more

and If I have a 1 year lease on a house in California, do I have to give notice to leave at the end of the lease?  My lease is up as of the end of May – do I have to give a 30 day notice or can I just leave at the end of the lease if I don’t want to renew it or go to a month-to-month tenancy?, more
and I am being sued. i have no insurance, what do i do?  I am being sued as a 3rd party defendant. basically there was a fire in my apartment and i had two other roommates. The lights went out so somebody lit candles. I left the apartment later in the night and then there was a huge fire with 2 fatalities. One of the deceased families is suing the landlord who is in turn suing me. I had no renters insurance and my family does not have homeowners insurance as well. We have absolutely no assets but i do have a job. however i have a good amount of debt and still have a ton of school loans. What are my options? It is hard for me to get a lawyer also and appear in court because i have received a summons in a different state taht is far away.
How do I find a pro bono civil lawyer? I know i am not guilty because i did nothing wrong. it just happened to be that the fire happened in my house. So even though i wasn’t there, just becuase someone at my house lit a candle, they are holding me as being negligent., more

Is it worth renting out a property at a net loss so that in the future it can reach a profit?  If the rent the landlord receives is about 65% of the cost of maintaining the property (mortgage, taxes, insurance, maintenance, and so on), is it worth holding on if it’s projected to let’s say in 5 to 10 years break even and after that be at a profit until the mortgage gets paid off? Or do most landlords break even or make a profit from the beginning?, more
and How do you fire a real estate agent?  We found an FSBO and the owners happen to be friend’s of ours. They have an attorney and we decided to use a real estate agent JUST to do the paperwork. Turns out the Agent wants 4% (seller pays) of the sale of the property.
In talking to an attorney and a couple of retired RE Agents, they said the cost should be around $900. We want to go with an attorney to keep the costs down for the seller and make this work for everyone. The Agent refuses to go below $2000 and let us out of the contract. But what if the seller refuses the offer?? Does that void our offer so we can move on to cheaper options in drawing up the paperwork?
The Agent said we would be bound to him for 4 months, yet the offer we drew up says it is only good until 3/28/09..wouldn’t that mean that the offer is dead and we are not beholden to anybody??
The Agent never showed us the property we just found him to write up the offer. Location: WI, more
