I am interested in moving to D.C. to go to school and I am slightly baffled by the incredibly high rent prices in D.C. I am from Chicago and rent prices here are kinda high in the “nicer” neighborhoods, but I mean COME ON! 1200 dollars for a studio! Does anyone know of any neighborhood (IN D.C.) where I could get a studio for less than say $600 dollars? It has to be in the District because school prices for out of “state” are incredibly high. Please let me know. And yes I checked craigslist., more

and Will it be difficult for me to get a home equity loan? hi, I am thinking about getting a home equity loan to pay for my daughter tuition for school. My credit is not very good but, I do have over 75,000 in equity. I am thinking about applying for 25k and was wondering if it would be difficult. and If I've already locked in my intrest rate can I still buy down points? It cost me 1.1 points to get down to 4.375 and I locked in that rate. I’m wondering if I can still buy points after I’ve locked in this rate?, more
