Open Question: What did you pay for your home? What was the interest rate and monthly mortgage payment?
and Open Question: Is the real estate agent responsible of his/her client during the whole period of his/her rent of the house?  Should the agent still be responsible of his/her client’s concerns and problems that he/she will encounter in the house and obliged to solve and attend to it during the stay in the house until the contract ends?
I am an agent. I was able to give the owner of the house a good renter. Along the way, the renter encountered so many problems in the house like the water system, drainage, plumbing, etc. When it was turned over by the owner to the renter, every thing seemed to be all working perfectly. But after a month, problems keep on recurring. The owner of the house insisted that during the whole term of the contract, I should be responsible to look after my client’s concerns till they finished the contract. Do you think this is compulsory/ necessary? Please advise., more
and Open Question: Appealing against mortgage decision after credit score was inaccurate?  My partner applied for a mortgage from Nationwide but was refused due to his credit check. They told us that affordability was fine but wouldnt say exactly where we fell down on credit check.
On checking with Experien the score was 999 however it had messed up previous postcode with new postcode so wasnt matching up as being on electoral register – plus all the accounts were doubled up (ie 2 credit cards exact same)
Finally after a battle with Experien to get it all rectified the new score is 814 which our mortgage broker said should be fine. He has appealed against the refusal with Nationwide to avoid a further footprint on credit file.
Any one any experience of this? Or information on how it works?
Many thanks, more

Open Question: Under what circumstances does a city demolish a house?  I was wondering what circumstances a city would decide to demolish a house (ie vacancy, owner that doesn’t pay property taxes, neighborhood complaints, etc)?, more
and Open Question: Cost to finish partially completed house in Texas?  My parents are looking at building a house in the coming months but we recently came across a unique property that they’re interested in. It’s a 2893 sq ft house that is partially completed. The property is located in the Tyler/Longview Texas area. The exterior of the home is complete and plumbing has been run DOWNSTAIRS only. It’s lacking all the finishing (drywall, electric, upstairs plumbing, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, etc).
Does anyone have a rough estimate on the dollars per sq ft cost to finish a construction project such as this? I know there are many variables that come into play (granite/corian, hardwood/laminate, custom cabinets/premade), but just assuming standard quality on everything, what would the potential cost be to have the rest of the house finished out?, more
