Will I get the asking price? the house is in good a condition.
I bought the house 3 yrs ago for 108.000 pounds, i would like to sell it for 110.000…

What do you have to pay for in a foreclosed house?  I’ve been thinking about buying a foreclosed house for awhile now. I found one on a real estate website for $1000. Right now, I can pay for the entire house no problem. But what else do I have to pay for, what monthly bills do I have to pay and around how much? I live in new jersey, and I think i want to rent out any extra bedrooms. Also, when they say price is $1000 do they really mean, the entire house is $1000 and then i just have to pay for the utilities and etc ?
really any information would help!, more

and can i get a mortgage on a foreclosure that needs repairs?  I found a house in my town that was sold at 297000.00 two years ago and now is on market as a foreclosure at 139000.00 I spoke to a mortgage company and they told me I need to get licensed contractors to do the work and they suggested ones that they worked with. they also said it would be hard to get the mortgage. I believe they just don’t want to work with us because they will not make lots of money off us. I am perfectly capable of doing these repairs myself because I am a carpenter but not licensed. also in no way will the house be altered from its original design. Are there mortgage company’s or programs out there that will work with us? I have a good job, great credit and a large down payment., more
