Best place to buy an apartment in S France with letting potential?

Posted by on Jun 20 | Real Estate Investing Chatter

I want to buy an aparment somewhere a travelling distance from Nice airport, from a company who will let it when I am not there. A type of complex thing with a shared pool, a studio or 1 bed maybe, but something that is either rented or looked after whilst I am not there so I don’t have to worry about security or marketing it myself, I realise there is a commission on this but there must be companies who sell apartments in blocks that they then rent out for you when you are not there. Any ideas?, more

and Anyone know of an alternative to realtor.com?  Ever since they changed the site I have found that it is harder to find what I am looking for. I’m looking for something that has a map search like the old realtor.com did. Thanks for the help!, more

and What can you tell me about lease with option to buy and owner financed homes?  My husband and I want to buy our first home. Neither of us have great credit scores but we can put $10,000 down. I have read up on some lease option to buy homes that will let you in with a down payment and no credit check. What can anyone tell me about these options? What is the difference between lease with option to buy and owner financing? DO NOT RESPOND IF: you are going to tell me to rent an apartment and clean up my credit. I already know this. I want to get into a house and only a house. Thank you in advance., more

Can a 2nd home get loan modification?  I bought a $500K home in Nevada 2 years ago with 10% down. now they’re only worth about a half. but I heard that 2nd home usually does not get qualified for a loan modification.. I had to rent out the property since I could no longer afford the payment, but the tenant is moving out.
What are my chances of getting a loan modification ?, more

and Refinance current home and applying for a new home loan?  My girlfriend currently owns a home which she is trying to refinance – at the same time, she is looking for a new home and wants to apply for a new home loan. But it’s taking a long time for the refi to close (can’t lock the rate/terms she wants) and she wants to go ahead and apply for the new home loan. Her current mortgage broker won’t do both as they are not supposed to refi her current home if they know she is going to buy another primary residence. She is thinking about going to another broker for the new home loan. If she gets the new home loan approved and then the rates for the refi drop – can she still refi her current home- what are the implications and consequences?, more
