Posted by on Jun 30 | Real Estate Investing Chatter

I live in kentucky (LONDON EAST KY) i am looking for a decent place to rent for my wife and two kids i have tryed everwere and no luck. And also if hud covers a low income apt do they still cover me when i leave? Can it switch to a house or another place?, more
and I NEED ADVICE!!! HORRIBLE ROOMIES!!!?  I recently moved in with my brother-in-law and his wife. well, actually they moved in with me. My husband is deployed and my brother-in-law soon will be. she is pregnant and is due in 2 months. all i ask is that they let me know when people are going to be over, pick up after themselves, put their dishes in the dishwasher and take them out if they are done. I figure that since my husband and i are paying all of the bills, they should at least help out with all of that. Well, apparently they think i am their provider and their maid. i have talked to them, my husband flipped on his brother, and i still wake up to a huge mess and strangers on MY couch, all of my food eaten, dishes ALL over (including the bathroom) and find them trying to give away MY cat. WHAT CAN I DO?, more

and When should I look at buying a house?  I’m 24, have a salary of 34k a year, 10k in the bank, and don’t plan on getting married. I want to start preparing to buy a nice home, in a nice area.
Right now I plan to be moving up at work to about 50k a year buy 27years old, and hopefully have a nice 40-50k in the bank by then. My goal is to have 80k saved up by the age of 30, so I can have a good down payment for my home. I guess my main question is, what kind of home does it look like i will be able to afford? With an average salary of around 50-60k? And will me being single and not married hurt me? And I am looking for a nice home in a nice area, I live outside of Chicago, in the suburbs. Any info will help, thank you., more
