I renewed my lease in end of april and my apartment manager told me they will start to charge for water and trash , which I said ok and signed the lease for another year . Well I received my bills yesterday and here is what it’s on my bill :
WATER : 28.69
SEWER :25.25.59
GAS:14.49
BILL PROCESSING FEE 3.95
RENT 466.00
I live in a one bedroom apartment and it never was mentioned in my lease that I would be charge extra for gas or sewage , they said I would pay for water only and it would probably be around 30 $ . My apartment is totally electric . When I spoke with a girl at the office she said I would have to come back monday and speak with the lady who handles billing . I ask her why I have to pay for gas if my apartment is all electric and she said it’s for the boiler and she pointed at a building by the managers office pool . My question is , who can I talk to about this issue . I live in the Dallas Texas area . Any advise is appreciated .
Sewer is 25.59 $, more
