what do they look for in credit for apartment rental?

Me and my fiance have limited credit history we were however able to finance a car now we need an apartment and I was wondering if our bad credit would get us denied or if they are looking for history as far as apartments shouldn’t the car get us brownie points also I have a good city job too, more 

and i am trying to pay my house off in ten years how much extra should i pay the loan was for 74,000 the rate is?  5.20000
i have been in this home since 6-18-2008
the payment is 591$ a month, more 

and Need my own place!!!! Desperate For information and advice?  Recently my mom kicked me out and then decided to let me stay theres been so much tension and i havent talked to her in nearly nearly 3 weeks which led up to an arguement that resulted in my curfew being cut. I am dying to move out an need any advice that i should know about moving out on my own an where the best place to move is i live in sacramento california and i don’t want to disrespect my mom in her own home so the best thing is for me to get out SOON.
i need to kno where i can get inexpensive furniture and an apartment.
also would it be cheaper to get a studio instead of a 1 br aptment?
and any other advice on how i can get extra money

What steps should I take to get my stuff back from my landlord?  Long story short, I was 3 days late paying $70 I owed them and the landlord’s husband called me yelling/cursing/physically threatening me to pay or move out. I said sure, I’m moving out because you all are slumlords (place was infested w/bugs, soiled carpet and electrical problems that caused small fires).
This was all in the beginning of June and I wasn’t paid from work til this past week to buy a uhaul. I finally had the guts to go back to my apartment to start removing stuff and it was all gone.
I was never given an eviction notice and they stole all my stuff. What should I do? I’m seeing a magistrate on monday for sure., more 

and Can apartment owners go into your apartment whenever they want?  or do they have to give a notice or something?
if i were to change a lock to a certain bedroom for example and have it locked at all times (i’d have the only key).. i’m worried someone who works @ the complex will come into my apartment and then report me for having a door locked with a new door handle.
