we refinace and a privater leander with a outrages loan payment he say he modifered with nothing in writing say just pay less now says sign over deed he will rent it to us back with maybe a rent to own and later down the road he will sell it back to us help, more

and Portrait Townhomes HOA?  Question is, do we (homeowners) control the HOA? Our builder, Portrait Homes, has declared bankruptcy and our community is unfinished. We do not have a HOA board. But it is crazy that we are paying $160 a month for nothing! I can see the pool maintenance and our water bill, that is not justified. Our landscapers come by maybe once every couple weeks, all the grass is dying and everyone is doing their own landscaping. Why are we paying for landscapers?! Anyways sorry for the rant… Just really would like to know if there is anything we can do about it. What are our rights? Who do we contact? Anybody that has any experience with this, please let me know., more
