Can you break an apartment lease in Texas due to being laid off?

Posted by on Jul 03 | Real Estate Investing Chatter

Here’s the thing.. I do not know an exact day on when I will be laid off, but know it is approaching. I am in the middle of my lease at my apt. It isn’t up until Feb 28, 2010. I will not be able to afford living there based on unemployment. I had planned on moving accross the state as soon as my lease was up for a different job. So I do not see the point in getting another job right now that will only last for a few months. Is it legal to break an apartment lease in Texas after being laid off?, more

and Can I "annul" my apartment lease?  It’s only my 1st day here and I heard a kid screaming upstairs, I have a next door neighbor that blasts music and I hear someone using their bathroom loud and clear. Imagine the volume of the sound you hear when you pee in the toilet, well that’s how loud it is. I feel like I’m peeing in the toilet. Anyways, my lease officially starts tomorrow, but I’ve been here for such a short time, could I annul my lease? I’ll probably have to talk to the manager, but I was curious if anyone has ever done that. Thanks a lot!
P.S. I did my apartment shopping and it was REALLY quiet when I came to take a look at the place. I even sat in the room for 10 minutes, but with my luck as soon as I made a pen stroke on a piece of paper, everyone came out to play. *sigh*, more

and Living costs in the UK?  I am in the process of looking to buy my first property. However to enable me to budget properly I am in need of some advice of the rough costs I will encounter of a monthly basis.
I am not interest in expensive television packages, broadband etc
It will be for one person living in a one/two bedroom maisonette or flat.
Food I have an idea of the costs but need some advice on electricity, gas etc etc – basically my monthly outgoings, more

Renting a house…………..?  I’M THINKING OF RENTING A HOUSE..IF THE HOUSE IS $2,500/ MONTH..IS IT INCLUDED WITH ALL THE BILLS..LIKE ELECTRICITY, GAS, INTERNET, TV, WATER?
IF IT DOESN’T INCLUDED..HOW MUCH MORE ON TOP OF 2,500 DO I HAVE TO PAY MONTLY?, more

and I LIVE IN MA/WHO IS RESPO0NSIBLE FOR CLEAR TILE FEES IF THE LOAN DOES NOT CLOSE?  I HAD A NO COST TO ME (CLOSING FEE)30FIXED LOAN FOR A SHORT SALE. I DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE SALE. THE SELLER CHANGED THE CLOSING DATE THREE TIMES. I LOST MY RATE AND HAD TO LOCK INTO A INCREASED RATE. I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING EMAILS FROM THE CLOSING ATTORNEY FOR $325.00 IN TITLE SEARCH FEES. THE BANK WHO WAS GOING TO COVER ALL COSTS WILL NOT PAY DO TO THE LOAN NOT CLOSING. I HAD TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO GET MY $5000 ESCROW BACK. THE REALTOR WAS IGNORING ALL MY REQUESTS FOR THE RETURN OF ESCROWS MONIES. THERE WAS NEVER A REQUEST OF AN EXTENSION FROM THE SELLER FOR A 30DAY EXTENSION TO CLEAR TITLE. THEREFORE MY P&S WAS NO LONGER VALID.THIS WAS THE WORST TRANSACTION I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I HAVE PURCHADED 4 HOMES PREVIOUSLY AND NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS., more
