I paid 1 month advance, 1 month deposit to my lessor last June 05th 2009. When will I pay next?

and Is real estate a good field to go into? Where do i begin?  I am currently an accountant. I have tossed around the idea of becoming a realtor for a while now, but with the economy the way it is i haven’t tried. I have done a little property management in the past also. Is it possible to get into it part time to begin and still make money? What does the average real estate agent make per month in a small-medium city?, more 

Which is correct? My lease or Virginia Law?  In my lease, it states that my landlord will send me an itemized list of damages, if any, within 15 days of termination of my lease and my deposit is to be returned within 30 days. Virginia law states that my landlord has 45 days to return my deposit. It has been 30 days and I am just wondering if , since my lease is a binding contract, shouldn’t that be the correct amount of time to return it and not what the law states? Looking to take legal action and wondering which time frame to go off of. Thanks!, more
