Am I still legally responsible for this lease?

Posted by on Jul 07 | Real Estate Investing Chatter

-I am trying to sublease my apartment
-A couple weeks ago my apt. complex found someone to sign a sublease; she signed the lease and put down her deposit but had not yet turned in her parent guarantor form
-During this time, I had two people interested in my apartment who were ready to sign a lease. The apartment complex turned them away because they already had a signed lease with the person they found
-Today the apartment complex called me letting me know that the tenant is unable to turn in her parent guarantor form therefore she is backing out
-They told me that I am still “partially responsible” for the lease. Is this true? Since someone else signed a sublease, aren’t they (or the apartment complex) now legally responsible for the lease?, more

and Mortgage Insurance or Lenders Insurance?  ??????????
If you took out Mortgage insurance (lenders insurance) on your home loan, and sold it for less than you purchased it. And there was a short fall in your house loan, and the insurance paid the bank the balance. Do you have to repay the insurance company? I am about 15 000 short….. Anybody know?, more

and In SF if a house is up for sale & no one is living there,is the seller still required 2 pay 4 garbage service?  SF = San Francisco, California.
Can you provide me a link to the ordinance online? Thanks. What concerns me is that the house could be on the market for months (many months) and paying for garbage service in an unoccupied house is ridiculous.
I got a letter from the city saying that the house didn’t have garbage pick up service and that city ordinance required it. They did not seem to know the house is up for sale. I am asking this question bc I want to know the facts BEFORE making a phone call to the city govt.
BTW, in SF, the garbage co. bills you for pickup so it is not free. You can move to America, apply for welfare, get food stamps, free housing, and free medical care. But if you are American and pay taxes, you are SOL including having to pay for garbage pickup in SF., more
