Apt walk through tomorrow, need advice?

Posted by on Jul 08 | Real Estate Investing Chatter

I am doing my walk through tomorrow and I’m worried I’m gonna get scammed. Last time I did one, things such as “toilet seat is old” were claimed. As far as I know my rear doesn’t possess aging properties. What do I do if I disagree with what they say needs to be done at the walk through? I’ve also had them say the bathroom was dirty, when honestly I thought it was sparkling for its condition. (I cannot make a 15 year old tub new, nor do I think I should).
Another thing is that I am going to have it cleaned when I move out. I called the company they go through and they charge the same as what the management told me it would cost if they hired them. They even told me not to bother cleaning too hard since I would doubtfully get it as good as this company. Since I expect to have it cleaned at the rate they gave me (in writing) should I be concerned that it’s not spick ‘n span? I’m not leaving it trashed, just not perfect., more
