« City wants to take down my house but I don't own it. Help.? | can a title co record the sale of property asthe trustee? »

Hello,
We just purchased a foreclosed home back in February. The home was bought at $40,000.00. The condition was poor, the house had not been lived in over four years. Home was never winterized so plumbing and boiler heating system where all damaged. In other words major neglect!
Cuyahoga county is aware the home sold for 94% lower then market value. Plus, a couple other houses in the area have sold for much less as well. Bringing market value lower in the area.
We filed a complaint back in the beginning of March and now it is July. They say they have the complaint on file; But have no idea on when they can reevaluate.
Does anyone know if they have a deadline on when this has to be done. Or can we bypass them and get a 3rd party to evaluate the property? In other words is there some way to speed up the process or try and get it done our self?
It’s aggravating when you are being forced to pay more then what is actual.
Thanks for you’re help., more
