i have been at my apartment for 2 weeks now and have made my landlord aware of the problems ive been having since the day we moved in.He always say he gonna come back then don’t.Is 2 weeks a reasonable amount of time to have give him to make the repairs or is it to early to take action?, more

and Do landlords require employment verification if a tenant can pay for a year's rent up front?  A friend and I want to move to NYC. I have enough to pay for two years rent if the rent is $2,000 or less, which it is in Staten Island. I have excellent credit. However, he doesn’t. Does his credit matter if I agree to pay the rent for the year and can pay up front (including the security deposit and cat fees)? And will it matter the second or third year when I may have employment and will need to pay each month?, more 

and How to do an emergency eviction if tenant is disturbing neighbors and not paying rent, police had to be called?  I live in an apartment complex in NC, neighbor has been there about 2 months, i’m upstairs, neighbor is downstairs, if she hears us walking, flushing toilets or if we drop something she starts banging on the walls, so bad til police had to be called. I have talked to manager and she says eviction can take from 30-45 days. Should i have to put up with this? I work and i need my sleep…Help!, more
