I would like to purchase a home before November to get the tax credit from the government. The houses I’m looking at are 50 – 80K. Here’s my situation.
I make $18Hr.r as a computer technician. I have been working for about 1 year 6 months.
Here’s the break down.
I’ll have about $4,000 in savings in October and that’s when I plan on getting pre-approved if its possible.
$7,200 in school loans. @ $69 a month
$14.600 Car @ 350 a month
$91 Insurance
$50 Cell phone
$200 Rent
$120 Gas
$100 Food
Total $980 Monthly
Grandmother pays health insurance.
Do you think it’s a good idea? Is it possible. Just looking for some good advice. Thank you in advance., more
and If my parent purchased a house, can we refinance with me as a co-borrower, then re-fi later and take her off? My mother purchased a house five years ago. She and I lived together while I went to dental school. She (age62) no longer wants to make the payments on the house and I want to finish the note in my name. We are wondering if we can refinance with me as a co-borrower. Then refinance again later, releasing her as a borrower. And I will separately reimburse her any equity built up. Simply put, she no longer wants a house payment and I do not have enough for the down payment., more
and Is there a way to get a residential property rezoned agricultural? In this economy, I’d like to start a little backyard garden, and also, I’d like to have a few chickens for laying. The zoning law in my county allows one chicken (or duck or whatever.) Is there a way to get around that? Could you get an exotic animal license or something? I’ve seen small urban coops for 3-4 chickens – cool!, more
Can the executor (one of four equal sibling heirs) sell/buy deceased father's homes at any price? Or does each real estate sale have to meet the approval of all four heirs before closing? Does fair market value enter this approval equation? Can the sales be delayed until the economy recovers enough to get reasonable sale prices (close to appraisal values)?, more
