I’m turning 18 next month and my friend (she also lives with her parents and turned 18 in march) has asked if i want to move into an apartment with her when i turn 18. we found a place that’s roughly 600 hundred a month. how much income would i have to make to cover half of all expenses? and what other things do i need to do?
these are the utilities included.
heat
water/sewer
trash removal
there’s no way i would live alone.

and Can my landlord come in when I am not home and remove my family pictures, etc.before the 30 day notice? I came home and saw my landlord & his wife removing some of my family pictures, etc. I told them to put it all back, but they just drove off. It has only been 2 weeks since the 30 day notice, but they want me out now because they sold the house. Can they do this? I am choking back tears seeing my family pictures, even personal things I inherited from my grandmother…. gone., more

and Need advice for early termination of an apartment lease!? I am one month into a 12 month lease and just got promoted. I have to move to a town 2 hours away but don’t know what to do about this apartment lease. I have read the contract several times but there is nothing at all in there about penalties for early termination of the lease. What options do I have? Can they really make me pay the rest of the contract out??, more
